Terms of service

Version 1.0 · Effective date: to be set when adopted

Operator and status

The operator is Raphael Oche Adole, sole trader, ABN: not yet registered, contact ocheadole1@gmail.com. Version 1.0 is pending review by a qualified Australian privacy/technology lawyer. Effective date: to be set when adopted. These policies are not yet in effect or legally approved. The owner intends to arrange review before opening registrations to the public. Material changes will be notified before final terms take effect.

Service scope

Aptivelle is a limited free beta. No checkout is available. Daily limits apply: 10 résumé generations, 10 cover letters, 60 résumé rewrites, 60 letter rewrites, 20 job analyses, 20 evidence matches, 30 new PDF/DOCX export checks, 20 quality analyses, 10 interview question sets, 60 interview feedback requests and 3 account exports per rolling 24 hours. Plus and Pro are not available for purchase.

Aptivelle supports career evidence, résumé and cover-letter preparation, job analysis, document quality guidance, application tracking and written interview practice. Application Room is a restricted preview available only to enabled accounts. Statement and selection-criteria drafting are coming next, not available today. Plus and Pro subscriptions are test-only. Voice practice and web company research are not available. There is no automatic application submission.

We will give 30 days’ notice before beta ends. Starting any paid subscription requires your explicit choice; beta never converts to billing automatically. If you do not upgrade, viewing, downloading, account export and deletion remain free for 90 days, with another reminder 30 days before that access closes. Accounts then remain subject to the inactivity policy rather than being deleted merely because beta ends. Free AI generation is not promised for life. The closure date and notice delivery are not yet scheduled.

Your account and responsibilities

Keep sign-in details secure, provide accurate information and use the service lawfully. You must have permission to upload documents and third-party information. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, bypass safeguards or submit malicious content.

Review every generated statement and exported document before use. You remain responsible for your application and must not misrepresent qualifications, experience, work rights, registrations or clearances. Confirmation means your confirmation, not independent verification.

AI and advisory limitations

AI may make mistakes or omit information. Proposed changes require your review; quality scores and interview feedback are advisory. Aptivelle does not promise interviews, offers, proprietary ATS compatibility or any hiring outcome. Employer decisions are outside our control.

Content and intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in your career content. The service needs permission to process that content to provide the functions you request. Ownership and licensing of generated material and platform intellectual property must be finalised in legal review; this draft does not promise exclusive rights in AI output.

Availability, suspension and deletion

Maintenance, provider outages and security incidents may affect availability. Proposed suspension or termination procedures, notice and dispute rights must be settled before launch. Export includes account-linked records and uploaded and generated files, with up to 3 account exports per rolling 24 hours and a 60-second download link. Account deletion requires password confirmation and typing DELETE. Verified requests start immediately, targeting removal from live systems within 7 days. Private files and account-linked records, including submitted applications, are removed. Minimal consent evidence is retained separately under the consent policy; usage cost records remain without your account identifier until their retention expires. A partial failure may remove some data; retry to finish deletion. Export first if you need a copy.

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in the final terms will exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Any proposed liability limits, warranties or indemnities require a qualified lawyer’s review; no blanket exclusion is asserted here.

Disputes and governing law

Send complaints to ocheadole1@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim for a substantive written response within 30 calendar days. If delayed, we explain the delay and give an expected response date. If you are not satisfied with a privacy response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints, where applicable.

The proposed governing law is South Australia and applicable Commonwealth law, subject to mandatory consumer rights and lawful jurisdiction requirements. These terms remain pending qualified legal review and adoption.
